Become a safe, confident driver with our Segment 2 driver education services.

  • Segment 2

To take Segment 2, you must have held your level one license (permit) for at least three months and completed 30 hours of driving (2 hours must have been done at night). Students must present a driving log (written or digital) and learner's license to the instructor on the first day of class.

This is a state-mandated 6-hour class. Dynamic Duo Driving School typically schedules the class over three days for two hours a day. The class helps teens learn how to identify risks. It focuses on dangerous driving behaviors such as distractions, alcohol and drugs, drowsiness, and emotions. Safety is Dynamic Duo's main priority. This course will discuss and practice techniques to help your teen be a safer driver on the road. Segment 2 does not involve driving.

Payment in full is required to register. All paperwork must be received at least seven days before the start of class or you will be removed from the class.

Former Dynamic Duo students, please call or text us at 269-243-1159 to register for Segment 2. We must verify you are eligible and add your Segment 2 course from our end to your account.

**Please be advised that foreign exchange students can only take this class for learning purposes. They will not receive a Michigan permit or a refund.
